TDE is a proud supplier to the Johan Cruyff Foundation; we consider it a special honor. The Johan Cruyff Foundation promotes youth wellbeing through exercise. They do this at the famous Cruyff Courts, at school yards, and through special sports projects for the disabled. We also help the Foundation in our turn with digital support for this wonderful work. So, we developed a new website.
Because of everything happening everyday, there’s a lot to be said on the website. That's why we've taken a comprehensive overview of the old content and looked critically at the current behavior of website visitors. On this basis we decided exactly what content we took to the new site and especially how we did it. You can only see it, if you get it ;).

Feelings, emotions and stories
The immense effort and energy put in to helping youth was an important starting point in developing this platform. This meant that these features had to shine from the screen. By giving videos and photos a prominent position on the platform, the Johan Cruyff Foundation can show – in a beautiful, visual way – who they are, what they do, and why they do it. But that's logical.

14K Run Audio Tour
To maintain the legacy of Johan and his ideas, the foundation organizes the 14K Run on a yearly basis. This "Social Run" brings you from the Olympic Stadium to the Johan Cruijff Arena and brings you along all the places which played a rol in his life. To strengthen this concept we came up with the audio tour app. An app with audio fragments brought by people who had close connection with Johan, like Frank Rijkaard and Ronald Koeman.
By making use of the gps-location of the runners, we were able to come up with the right audio fragments at the places which were relevant for the audio fragments. The Cruyff Legacy 14K Run is the first running event in the world, which made use of this technique to enhance the experience of the runners.

It’s very special to work for the Johan Cruyff Foundation. And we really feel that too! It’s always evident how special that is at the annual Open Day at the Olympic Stadium, where the kids’ faces speak volumes. This creates a huge drive to continuously improve the platform and think about how we can score as many donations as possible.
